During the week of the 11th World Symposium on Choral Music in Barcelona, more than 3000 conductors, singers, and other choir professionals will meet in Barcelona on July 22 to 29, 2017.


The Symposium will take place entirely on the grounds of the Barcelona Auditori and surroundings (ESMUC and UPF Ciutadella)


The CHORAL EXPO will be situated in the foyer of the Auditori that will be visited by most delegates on a daily basis.


We offer you a unique opportunity to get acquainted with our guests in surroundings that will easily match the quality of your goods or services.


When you have decided to become an exhibitor during WSCM11 remember that it is not only a good business decision. You will also have the pleasure of taking part in one of the largest choir events in the world.


But don’t hesitate to long, the number of booths are limited!




The 11th World Symposium on Choral Music is an international event organized by the collaboration between the International Federation on Choral Music (IFCM) and the Catalan Federation of Choirs (FCEC).




The CHORAL EXPO wants to be a meeting place of the Symposium, that will attract over 3000 professionals, amateurs, institutions, singers, conductors, composers, managers, editors and business of choral music from around the world, and will offer a platform for music publishers, choir organizations, festival and competition organizers as well as other partners in different ways. Exhibitors will have the chance to highlight their products and services in a place geared specifically to the international choral music market. The organization of the Symposium is now accepting applications from interested Exhibitors.  




Vendors that market educational and choral tools, and any choral or music related goods or services, publishers, festival or competition organizers, and other interested in exhibiting or spreading information at the WSCM11 are welcome to apply. The WSCM11 reserves the right to decline any applications that are not consistent with the educational or artistic focus of the event.    




  • Be present at the CHORAL EXPO at the Foyer of the Auditori. The Foyer is in the ground floor of the Auditori main hall, where the official concerts of the WSCM11 will take place every day.

  • Attend symposium events. Those who rent a space at the CHORAL EXPO will receive a bag with program and open singing booklet as well as one exhibitor badge per booth allowing free access to all events of the symposium.

  • Meet and greet the conductors and composers: display your catalogues; distribute free sample scores; let them listen to audio files; show them your websites…

  • Offer a presentation. We give the opportunity to offer a presentation of 45 minutes that will be announced in the general program of the symposium.

  • Spread your information to participants through different channels: place an advert in the Symposium Program Book; place a brochure/flyer in the bags of all participants (about 3000 copies or more); place an advertising banner on the website (see prices and special conditions for exhibitors below).



The CHORAL EXPO is located in the Foyer of the L’Auditori (c/ Padilla 151 – Barcelona).

          Saturday, 22 July: 15:00 -20:00

          Sunday, 23 July: 10-16:30

          Monday, 24 July: 10-16:30

          Tuesday, 25 July: 10-16:30

          Wednesday, 26 July: 10-18:30

          Thursday, 27 July: 10-16:30

          Friday, 28 July: 10-16:30

          Saturday, 29 July: 10-16:30


          Set up: Saturday 22 July 10 - 15 h

          Pull down: Sunday 30 July 10-15 h


Please note that we request that all booths remain open during CHORAL EXPO hours.

The total cost will be invoiced on receipt of the completed application form and due for payment upon receipt of the invoice within a month to guarantee the reservation.

For bookings made after 15 March 2017 payment is due at the time of the reservation.

All payments must be made in € (Euro), by Bank Transfer, and include any bank fees.

Accommodation and meals are not the responsibility of the Organizing Committee. Exhibitors will have to make their own arrangements. Barcelona is a popular tourist city and July is high summer season, for this reason it is advisable to make reservations as early as possible.
