The Chamber Choir Tyrichae was founded in 2000 with the aim of spreading the choral repertoire of different genres, periods and styles. The TyrichaeDuring its career the choir has participated in several productions including G.F Handel's Messiah, Big Choirs of Opera, the St. John Passion by J.S Bach, M. Duruflé's Requiem. At the beginning of Chamber Choir consists of twenty singers from the Terres de l'Ebre, Catalonia. It was conducted by Raül Martínez from the very beginning until October 2014, and then by Andreu Ferré, who is its current conductor.
During its career the choir has participated in several productions including G.F Handel's Messiah, Big Choirs of Opera, the St. John Passion by J.S Bach, M. Duruflé's Requiem. At the beginning of the year. The concert took place at the Tortosa’s Cathedral.
The Choir has performed at the Festival of Sacred Music and the Renaissance Festival of Tortosa for many years. It also participated at the Montblanc’s Medieval Week. InApril,2011 the choir acted in l’Auditoriu de Barcelona within the program ofCicle Coral. In 2012 it recorded the CD titled Cançó a l’Ebre, which includes traditional Catalan songs, and traditional songs of the Terres de l'Ebre.
COR DE CAMBRA TYRICHAE
Fundat l’any 2000 amb la voluntat de difondre el repertori coral de diferents gèneres, èpoques i estils, el Cor de cambra Tyrichae està format per una vintena de cantaires de les Terres de l'Ebre. Dirigit des dels seus inicis per Raül Martínez, des de l’octubre de 2014 Andreu Ferré n’és el director.
Durant la seva trajectòria ha participat en diverses produccions entre les quals destaquen El Messies de G. F. Haendel, Grans cors d’òpera, la Passió segons Sant Joan de J. S. Bach, el Rèquiem de M. Duruflé i a principis d’any va realitzar a la Catedral de Tortosa el primer concert del cicle “Música contra la pobresa infantil” amb l’Orquestra Unesco Barcelona.
El Cor ha realitzat concerts al Festival de Música Sacra i la Festa del Renaixement de Tortosa, a la Setmana Medieval de Montblanc i al gener de 2011 va actuar al Cicle Coral de l’Auditori de Barcelona. L’any 2012 va enregistrar el CD Cançó a l’Ebre. Cançó catalana, tradicional i de les Terres de l’Ebre.
